White Sox recall RHP Wassermann to replace McDougal (AP)
CHICAGO (AP)– The Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed reliever Ehren Wassermann from Triple-A on Sunday to replace reliever Mike McDougal. McDougal was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday. The right-hander gave up a hit and a walk in 1-3 inning in the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader, a 5-1 loss to Baltimore.

Orioles and White Sox postponed because of rain (AP)
The game between the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles was postponed because of rain on Friday night. Orioles left-hander Brian Burres was scheduled to pitch against lefty Mark Buehrle, but a downpour washed the game out in the bottom of the first inning.
