Outfielder Darin Erstad was activated from the 15-day disabled list by the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday before their game against the New York Yankees. Erstad went on the DL on June 23 with a sprained left ankle. He batted .128 (6-for-47) in a 12-game rehab stint with Triple-A Charlotte. He entered Tuesday night’s 16-3 loss to the Yankees in the sixth and singled in the ninth.
